The Duke is considerably more expensive than the Apache and the Pulsar. This is one department where the Apache RTR200 will have an upper hand thanks to its pricing. Even the ABS equipped model, when launched, will cost less than the non-ABS KTM Duke 200. However, bear in mind, the prices are probably introductory and are bound to go up in the coming months.

Exact performance figures of the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS FI are not known as of now. Although the KTM Duke 200 boasts more power and higher torque than the Apache, it is marginally slower. The RTR 200 manages to dismiss 0-60 km/h in 3.9 seconds while the Duke 200 takes 4 seconds to make that run. The Duke is lighter than the Apache by 12 kgs and boasts of wider front and rear tyres. All three bikes get front and rear disc brakes and a monoshock rear suspension. The Apache is expected to get an ABS equipped version in the coming months.

When it comes to styling, all three bikes get a distinctive look giving each of them an identity of their own. The Apache RTR 200, being the newbie, will certainly grab more eyeballs than the rest. Although the Pulsar 200NS FI is yet to be launched, it will not be too different in terms of appearance from the 200NS. Which isn’t such a bad thing considering it was always praised for its striking design. However, it’s the KTM that still grabs a lot of attention thanks to its edgy styling details and loud paint schemes.
There isn’t much that sets these three motorcycles apart in terms of features. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is available in 6 paint shades while the Duke 200 gets only two. The 200NS was available in 4 colour options, but we’ll have to wait for the introduction of the FI to know exactly what Bajaj will offer.

Design – Looks are a matter of personal taste, but the KTM Duke 200 is still the most striking looking bike of the lot.
Specifications – The TVS Apache RTR200 4V might be less powerful than the Duke, but it is faster to 60 km/h from standstill. It will also get ABS in the coming months, something the Duke lacks.
Price – The TVS Apache has an upper hand here with the fuel injected version cheaper than the Duke by almost 30,000. Even the Bajaj Pulsar will be cheaper than the Duke 200 when launched.
