The upcoming TVS Apache 310cc model has to among the most awaited of all bikes today. While speculations were that this bike will go on sale under the RTR 300 moniker, we’ve just got to learn that the upcoming bike will launch as the new TVS Apache RR 310S. The new 2017 Apache RR 310S is basically the production-spec model of the Akula concept we saw at the Auto Expo 2016. The new 2017 TVS Apache RR 310S will become the first-ever full-fairing motorcycle from TVS Motor Co.
The upcoming TVS Apache flagship could launch in July 2017. Its prices are expected to start at Rs 1.72 Lakh and what you see above is the first-ever set of images of the new TVS Apache RR 310S. The new bike will become the first Apache to get the RR (Race Replica) suffix.

TVS Apache RR 310S Images
The new 2017 TVS Apache RR 310S was recently seen by one of our dear friends. As shown in the images of the Apache 310S, the upcoming TVS Apache model looks rather close to the Akula 310 concept. However, it doesn’t get the carbon-fibre body panels seen on the show bike.

The new model Apache flagship shares its engine with the new BMW G310R. The RR 310S, however, will get this engine in a slightly different state of tune. We’re hoping for a peak power-torque output of 35 PS and 27 Nm from this 313 cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder water-cooled engine. The engine will come mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

TVS Apache RR 310S Design Review
As you must have seen in the few spy images we have above, the new Apache RR 310S misses out on carbon fibre bodywork that we saw on the Akula concept. Still, the new TVS bike looks really sporty. This is majorly due to the full fairing, a twin headlamps setup, adjustable clip-on handlebar and the split seats. The RR 310S Apache should even have a set of daytime running lamps (DRLs).
Some changes apart, the Apache 310cc will definitely possess the racy look of the Akula concept. As seen in the images, the upcoming TVS motorcycle looks sporty and very stylish. The RR 310S will look every bit a grown up Apache RTR 180!
