TVS Apache has breached the iconic milestone of 60 lakh (6 million) sales worldwide after completing its 20 years anniversary. That is a massive achievement considering the fact that it belongs to a single range of motorcycles from TVS. The Apache range of bikes incorporates TVS’s cutting-edge racing technology and takes inspiration from TVS Racing’s championship pedigree. In fact, it has grown to serve over 60 countries worldwide with its sports motorcycle brand.
TVS Apache Reaches 60 Lakh Sales
The TVS Apache brand came into existence back in 2005. In fact, many of our readers might remember the Apache 150, which was the inaugural model. The aim was to offer performance-focused products without the hefty price tags. Furthermore, it became the first two-wheeler brand in India to offer factory customization with its BTO (Build-To-Order) option. With its “Track to Road” philosophy, the two-wheeler giant strives to democratize racing. There are two major platforms under TVS Apache – Apache RR (race-focused) and Apache RTR (street-performance).
Over the years, it has consistently added new technologies to make its products better and more exciting. Some of these amenities include things like fuel-injection, ride modes, adjustable suspensions, slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, dual disc brake, race-tuned dynamic stability control, SmartX Connect, cruise control, climate control seat, tyre pressure monitoring system and more. Hence, its bikes have remained competitive with the changing times.
