The 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS is basically an update to make it comply with the Euro 5 emission norms but Triumph is bringing a host of updates along with it.
Triumph Motorcycles has teased an image of the new Street Triple RS. The Street Triple RS was due an update as we had already seen some spy shots of the updated motorcycle being tested. Now Triumph has officially shared a teaser on its social media pages and on its official website as well regarding the arrival of the 2020 Street Triple RS on 7 October.
With this update, Triumph is basically readying the motorcycle for Euro 5 emission norms. However, Triumph is not completely revamping the Street Triple RS. This platform for the 765cc inline three-cylinder engine was introduced just two years ago and Triumph would just be tweaking the engine to comply with the emission norms. However, there are rumors that the new Street Triple RS will get the same tuning as the Daytona 765 Moto2 Limited Edition motorcycle.
If rumors are to be believed then the motorcycle will have 130PS of power and 80 Nm of torque, 7PS and 3Nm more than before. Another major change on the new motorcycle seems to be the use a different USD fork. The current RS model uses an 41mm Showa Big-Piston Fork with a black casing but it remains to be seen if the new motorcycle will use the same setup or get a different one.

And like you can already make out from the teaser, the bug-eyed headlamps are gone and in place are new dual headlights with twin LED DRL bands which gives the motorcycle a really menacing look.
