Toyota has unveiled the much-awaited Innova HyCross in India. It is being touted as the fastest and most fuel-efficient Innova. The hybrid MPV comes with a pack of new modern features and a great street presence. Recently it was seen next to a Mahindra XUV700. Now, an image shows it next to a Fortuner Luxury SUV. As you can see in the image below, the luxurious crossover manages to hold its own against the massive SUV. The Japanese automaker has successfully added an impressive look to the Toyota Innova HyCross.

The Toyota Innova HyCross is one of the most-anticipated MPV in the Indian market. While it will be officially launched in January 2023, the upcoming car is popping up everywhere as part of an ongoing media drive. Thanks to its butch design language, the Toyota Innova HyCross hybrid MPV is gathering a lot of attention. It combines an impressive street presence with luxury features and strong driving dynamics. The upcoming car is likely to appeal to a wide section of customers. It will go against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra XUV700, and Tata Safari.
Toyota Innova HyCross Specifications
The Toyota Innova HyCross is the company’s second mass-market strong hybrid car. It is said to offer a fuel efficiency of over 21 Kmpl and a combined output of over 180 Bhp. The petrol-strong hybrid is combined with a lighter monocoque body and front-wheel drive layout. The powerful MPV comes with an eCVT automatic gearbox as standard. The lower variants of the car will be powered by a 2 liter, naturally aspirated petrol engine that offers 172 Bhp of power. These variants will not have a hybrid setup.

On the inside, the Toyota Innova HyCross features a premium cabin with a floating 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, an electrochromic inside rearview mirror, quilted chestnut leather seats, ventilated front seats, push start-stop button, roof-mounted AC vents, powered tailgate, paddle shifters, 360 camera, and a multi-function steering wheel. There will also be powered Ottoman seats in the middle row. Whereas the driver’s seat gets an 8-way power adjustment with a memory function.

The Toyota Innova HyCross is the company’s first MPV to come with a panoramic sunroof. It is paired with mood lighting. The ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) on the car is powered by radar and camera-based technology. It comes with features like Dynamic radar cruise control, auto high beam assist, blind spot monitor (BSM), pre-collision system, rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA), and Lane Trace Assist. In terms of dimensions, the Toyota Innova HyCross measures 4755 x 1850 x 1795mm (length x width x height) and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Overall, the Innova HyCross seems like a great upgrade over the Innova Crysta.
