Toyota is working on yet another MPV that it will most likely sell alongside the mega-popular Innova Crysta in our market.
The details of the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross are emerging as the international debut is set to take place next month. Toyota is planning to introduce the Hycross to be sold with the existing Innova Crysta. The spy shots of the test mule have already been seen multiple times already. This Innova will be based on the company’s TNGA-C platform with a monocoque chassis. Also, it will differ from the current-gen model in that it will be FWD rather than RWD.

Details of Toyota Innova Hycross
This latest spy shot has been shared by okcar247 on Instagram. While the body of the MPV is camouflaged, one can make out the silhouette to some extent. At the front, sharp LED headlights along with LED DRLs are somewhat visible, the grille appears massive, the bonnet is rather upright, the wheel arches are squared informing an SUV-ish appearance, but the windshield is not too raked which gives away the MPV characteristics.

Needless to say, safety will be taken care of with a wide variety of equipment. The overall length will be around 4.7 m with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The monocoque construction will liberate a large space inside the cabin for the comfort of the passengers.
