Toyota has finally unveiled the all-new Innova HyCross in India. As of now, there is no information about its price tag. The new crossover will be officially launched in January 2023. The price announcement is likely to take place at the same time. The Toyota Innova HyCross is a hybrid MPV that comes with a pack of new modern features. It is also being touted as the fastest and most fuel-efficient Innova. However, the biggest highlight of the car is its street presence. In the ongoing media drive, the Toyota Innova HyCross was spotted next to a Mahindra XUV700. The image hights the new MPV’s styling.

As you can see in the images above, the Toyota Innova HyCross looks almost as big as the Mahindra XUV700 luxury crossover. It goes head to head with the XUV 700 in terms of front, profile, and rear end. Thanks to its big street presence, the Toyota Innova HyCross can compete with any SUV. Since the Toyota Innova HyCross is likely to come with a starting price of Rs 20 lakh (significantly higher than the Mahindra XUV700 and the Innova Crysta), it will compete with the likes of Kia Carnival. The luxurious SUV comes with a starting price of Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
In terms of dimensions, the Toyota Innova HyCross measures 4755 x 1850 x 1795mm (length x width x height) and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. On the other hand, the Mahindra XUV700 measures 4,695 x 1,890 x 1,755 mm (length x width x height) and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. The Toyota Innova HyCross is indeed larger than the XUV700 in almost every dimension except the width. It also sports a premium cabin with a floating 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a multi-function steering wheel, 360 camera, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, ambient lights, and a panoramic sunroof.

The Toyota Innova HyCross is powered by a 2.0 liter-4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that offers 172 Bhp of power and 197 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with CVT automatic gearboxes as standard. Customers can also choose a 2.0-liter strong hybrid petrol engine option that outputs 184 Bhp of power.
