Soon after launching the new Toyota Innova Hycross in India, Toyota Kirloskar Motor recently unveiled the new Innova Crysta facelift in the country. The new facelift model will only be offered with a diesel engine and the bookings for the same have commenced for Rs 50,000. The new Toyota Innova facelift model will be sold alongside the new Innova Hycross in the Indian market.

2023 Toyota Innova Crysta Only Available with 2.4-litre Turbo-Diesel Motor
The previous iteration of the Toyota Innova Crysta was discontinued in 2022 and used to be on sale with both petrol as well as diesel engine options. The new facelift model however will only be offered with a 2.4L-4 cylinder GD turbo diesel engine that produces 148 bhp of maximum power and 343 Nm of peak torque. There will be a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard this time around with no automatic transmission being offered as an optional upgrade. Toyota will sell two Innova models for the first time though there are clear differences in powertrain, with the new Innova Crysta facelift being diesel-only model and the Innova Hycross being offered with petrol and petrol strong-hybrid engines.
In terms of changes, the new 2023 Innova Crysta gets a redesigned front bumper and chrome embellishments. The MPV now comes with powered driver seat adjustments, multi-zone climate control, a picnic table for the second row, leather seats in the higher variants in multiple colour shades, ambient lighting and one-touch tumble feature for the second-row seats. The new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system will now be equipped with features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Safety Features
In terms of safety features, the Innova Crysta gets 7 SRS airbags, front and rear parking sensors, vehicle stability control and hill-start assist control, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist. All its variants will now come with three-point seatbelts for better safety of the passengers.
