Toyota is all armed with the New Toyota Etios sedan and the Toyota Etios Liva( hatchback version of Etios) but there is another car which is heading towards a transformation phase. The very popular and loved Toyota Innova will soon be getting some grooming and the new model is expected to be revealed in 2012.
The upcoming Innova will retain the IMV platform but will sport a number of facial and interior modifications to lure the Indian customers. As per the information the 2012 Innova will equip the same engine but the power and torque outputs will get major improvements.
The car is speculated to feature an Automatic Transmission as and all these changes will bring along a lot of revision in the pricing of the same. The Indian customers are extremely familiar with this MPV and with a host of new improvements to be introduced, it would be fair to see how they will react upon the new one.
The car is offered in 10 variants(3 Petrol and 7 Diesel) which fall in the price range of Rs.9 to Rs.14 Lakh. Now with the new intelligent features the price is ought to shoot well above the current figures and may fall between Rs10 to Rs.15 Lakh.
Whatever may be the case, all we know is that the Indian market always welcomes new products and with this new vehicle on the cards Toyota is expected to turn a lot of eye balls.
