Specification of Toyota FCHV-adv Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hybrid
The Toyota FCHV-adv Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hybrid cars are fitted with High Pressure Storage tanks in order to prevent any type of accident related to the fuel cell. The reason for such high pressure storage tanks is that the energy liberated inside the hydrogen fuel cell is enormous and if not in controlled state can emerge as an accident.
The Hydrogen Fuel Cell storage tanks can make the vehicle cruise a remarkable 500 miles in one go which sums to almost twice of what its predecessors offered and the president has also revealed plans to commercialize the production of this vehicle by 2015.
Toyota which recently gained a lot of media attention with the recalls it made after figuring problems in many cars is now ready with another plan, focusing on installation of Hydrogen Filling stations and a fuel supply network and for such a huge project the German Government is ready to support the company with nearly 2 Billion Euros.
The plan is a result of a deal signed between Toyota and the Clean Energy Partnership (CEP). The 2 Billion Euros provided by the German government is to support electric vehicle technologies and the development of hydrogen fuel cell through CEP.
