Toyota Glanza, the rebadged Maruti Baleno has made several rounds on Internet with spy shots or videos taken from the dealership in bright red colour. Now a new video has been surfaced that how the Glanza drives.
In this video, Toyota Glanza is being driven in underground parking and the car looks identical to its cousin, Maruti Baleno. The noticeable difference seen is the Toyota badging on the front grille and bootlid on the rear. The front grille is now shinier which makes it a little different than its cousin.
While the exteriors are kept exactly the same as the donor car, there were rumours that Glanza might see an interior change. However, the spy shots reveal that the interiors aren’t changing either except for Toyota badging on the steering wheel.

Since the Glanza followed the Baleno blindly, features like a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, multi-information display and instantaneous fuel consumption are expected.
Projector headlamps, LED DRL’s, LED Taillamps, reverse camera, dual airbags, ABS with EBD too are some of the features which will follow Toyota Glanza.

The car will get a 1.2L, VVT engine generating 82bhp with 114Nm of torque which is seen on Maruti Baleno. The engine is in compliance with BS-VI norms. It is mated to 5-speed manual transmission and CVT gearbox.
However, the newer 1.2L, Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Maruti mild hybrid, SHVS, can be expected later. The engine generates 90bhp with 114Nm of torque. The hatchback will be made available in petrol engine whereas Maruti Baleno comes with both petrol and diesel engine.
