Toyota Glanza competes with the Zeta and Alpha trims of the Maruti Baleno and considering the prices there is a huge gap. The ‘G’ trim of Glanza comes with an option of 1.2-litre DualJet VVT engine which gets a mild hybrid system. It is mated to 5-speed manual transmission. The tried and tested 1.2-litre which generates 83 bhp with a peak torque of 113 Nm is available with the ‘V’ trim and comes in both 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox. The base variant of the Glanza also gets a CVT transmission.
