On the occasion of its second birthday, the current-gen MU-X is getting an upgrade. It looks stunning in a new Glacier Blue Mica finish. The midsize SUV has been unveiled in Thailand. It comes with minor aesthetic tweaks. The new car model will take on the popular Toyota Fortuner. As of now, we do not have the details of the Indian price tag and launch date. 2023 Isuzu MU-X Styling Changes
As you can see in the image above, the new Isuzu MU-X sports a stylish grille with a new black chrome finish. The fan-like two-tone alloys have been replaced with new 20-inch rotor blade alloy wheels. On the inside, the new Isuzu MU-X features the same layout as the previous model. It gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, you can pick a new Macchiato Brown color option. Additionally, the new variant with Glacier Blue Mica exterior finish looks stunning. Still, the new version still essentially the same SUV.
Specs
The new Isuzu MU-X gets a 1.9-liter RZ4E diesel engine option that offers 163PS or power and 360Nm of torque. It works in tandem with a 6-speed automatic transmission. You can choose a 3.0-liter turbodiesel option. It also retains the safety and driver-assist features. However, a new smart liftgate is now available. It automatically opens/ closes the rear door whenever the owner approaches/ moves away from the vehicle. Isuzu has also released improvements for the D-Max. The BS6-compliant Isuzu MU-X was launched in India with a 1.9-liter diesel engine. It features bi-LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. Additional features include fog lamps, 230mm ground clearance, a one-touch fold function for second and third-row seats, USB ports, cruise control, a six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry, 60:40 seats, integrated armrest, integrated cupholders, and more. In India, the Isuzu MU-X costs Rs 33.37 lakh to Rs 35.34 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in two variants: 4×2 and 4×4.
