This latest rendition by an automobile artist represents a unique Toyota Fortuner with elements of a Land Cruiser and Innova Crysta. Fortuner is the most popular 7-seat off-roader in the country for years now. This became particularly true after the departure of its arch-rival, the Ford Endeavour. On the other hand, Land Cruiser is among the most successful luxury SUVs on the planet. It is the go-to choice for a whole bunch of celebrities worldwide. Additionally, Innova Crysta is the market leader in the MPV category in India since its inception. What happens when all these merge together? Well, let us find out.

Fortuner with Glimpses of Land Cruiser and Innova Crysta

He/She merges these three massively popular and successful vehicles from the Japanese carmaker. At the front, the Fortuner gets the grille of the Innova Crysta. It is a broad grille with a Toyota logo. Additionally, there is a sleek LED headlamp setup which is inspired by the mighty Land Cruiser. There are attractive elements underneath the headlight cluster which looks unique. Then there is a rugged skid plate beneath the bumper with LED DRLs on extreme edges.

The side profile is dominated by the regular design language that the Fortuner comes with. This includes a stylish set of alloy wheels, a prominent side step for improved ingress and egress traits, and black B, C and D pillars with a trademark element at the rear section under the window frame. The wheel arches are quite chunky and rugged. One could also see the roof rails. All in all, the original silhouette of the Fortuner is still evident but the new elements look quite attractive and exciting.

The present iteration of the Toyota Fortuner comes with a 2.7-litre petrol engine and a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine.
