In this latest digital illustration, a Toyota Fortuner gets the face of the humble Maruti WagonR. Digital artists excel in crafting captivating versions of different cars. I’ve been covering these distinctive illustrations for a while now. The skill of these car designers is truly impressive. The free-flowing creativity of designers transcends physical limitations. As a result, we get to experience some truly remarkable iterations. For now, let’s delve into the specifics of this latest mash-up creation.

Toyota Fortuner Imagined with WagonR Face
This rendition stems from autojournal_india on Instagram. This weird digital contraption incorporates the fascia of a WagonR. Hence, there are simple headlamps with a sleek grille which has a chrome belt and the Suzuki logo on it. The bumper is relatively subtle too. This vehicle gets fog lamps on the extreme edges of the bumper. However, once you move down the sides, you get an instant surprise. The length of this alleged WagonR is extraordinarily large. The large alloy wheels with a unique design pattern also inform about its true nature.

There are side steps and body cladding to impose its road presence and hardcore nature. The window line with a chrome belt confirms that this is a Fortuner. There are black side pillars and roof rails which look awesome. What also adds to the demeanour of the Fortuner are the chunky wheel arches with black cladding. This is a strange coming-together of two cars from the extreme ends of the spectrum. The chrome inserts on the ORVMs, door handles and window frames lend a premium appeal. All in all, this weird thought of meshing these two together doesn’t look madly out of place somehow.

Author’s Note
This is a standout digital iteration of two successful cars from totally different segments. On one hand, the WagonR is among the highest-selling vehicles in our market for the longest time. Its affordability, high mileage, practical cabin and dense service support (due to being a Maruti car) are some of the top reasons for its mad success. On the other hand, the Fortuner is the most successful 7-seat off-roader in the country since its inception. Such virtual renditions help us get a new perspective on old cars. We appreciate the creativity of the digital artist.
