An in-depth walkaround (Exterior & Interior) of the 2022 Toyota Fortuner GR Sport 2.8 4X4 has emerged online. It reveals a sportiest look and a new suspension setting.
The Toyota Fortuner GR SPORT is the sportiest model in the Fortuner line-up. It belongs to the “Second generation” which started in 2015 and still continues. The mid-size SUV is built on the Hilux pickup truck platform (Toyota IMV platform). While it is based on Fortuner Legender variants, the new top-of-the-line model comes with a more aggressive look, a 2.8Litre Diesel 4WD engine, and a new suspension setting for better handling. It offers 204 PS and 500 N-m torque, along with 6-speed automatic transmission (with sequential shift). In the new video below, we can see an Emotional Red model with a Blacktop.

The Toyota Fortuner GR Sport gets a revised black grille, a new front bumper, a sporty-looking spoiler, leather-suede sports seats (perforated Suede leather and synthetic leather), and unique 20-inch alloy wheels with 265/50 R20 tires. Whereas the cabin comes with a black and red finish (similar to other Gazoo Racing models). Along with a sportier front fascia, it sports GR-branded accessories like GR-branded headrests, push-button start, aluminum pedals, and special GR Sport carpets. Other exterior upgrades include GR Sport emblems on the tailgate, and GR Sport stickers on the doors. For safety, the company has added 7 airbags in total. The second-row and third-row seats can recline and fold. While the second row can fold up 60:40 split, the third can fold up 50:50 split.

The Toyota Fortuner GR Sport looks sportier than the previous models. The dark chrome grille and a new front bumper, perfectly complement the smaller 20-inch alloy wheels. The company has added “KYB” Monotube Shock Absorbers. The overall length of the vehicle is 4,794 mm. You will also get Power Adjustable and Folding Side Mirrors. A One-TOuch Automatic Windows feature is present in all four Windows. The 9-inch touch screen comes with Apple CarPlay and an 11-speaker JBL system. You also get an auto-dimming rearview mirror and auto-leveling headlights. The LED dual projector headlights come with LED daytime running lights, LED front Fog lights, and LED sequential turn signal/ hazard lights. The rear panel includes LED light guiding Tails lights with LED sequential turn signal/ hazard lights.
