Toyota India has started the production of its latest launch Toyota Etios Sedan in its plant at Bangalore. The plant has a capacity of producing about 70000 Etios cars annually to begin with. This capacity can be further increased with time and demand changes. To start with, Toyota has already got about 18000 Etios bookings for the Etios. It will be a challenge to fulfill this overwhelming demand of Etios by Toyota. The situation will become even more demanding when the hatchback Toyota Etios Liva will be launched somewhere in the mid of the year 2011.
