Toyota is the big name for the revolution in cars. The company says that they set a revolutionary pattern in terms of car manufacturing. Recently everybody knows that company has showcased the much improved 2014 highlander in the New York auto show which was a crossover from inside.
Toyota India has now launched the 2013 Toyota Corolla Altis base J Trim in both petrol and diesel variants of the car. Basically there is a new base trim designed for the Corolla Altis Saloon. The earlier version of the Corolla Altis was different. The slight comparison for the buyers is that the interiors and features are changed while the mechanical remained as it is. Company has the tag line for the car “Genius inside Gorgeous outside”, which easily states that the internal design is genius and the outer is gorgeous. The earlier version looks executive and sheds luxury.
Company says that the new J spec will be available for both the engines diesel and petrol. The basic J diesel variant of the car will get dual airbags, a touch screen music system and USB compatibility. News for the Petrol variant is that company will be replacing the current basic variant fully and the replaced version will carry the same kit as the diesel J is carrying. The internal changes are able enough to attract the consumers and make sales. The new version will be going to have the unchanged engine and the engine will remain same. The car comprises of 1.4 liter D-4D diesel engine which makes a maximum power of 87 Ps. Another 1.8 liter of the petrol engine variant produces the maximum power of 138 Ps. Both the engines come with a six speed manual gearbox. The Altis J petrol comes at price of 11.74 lakhs and the diesel model at a price of 13.16 lakhs, both prices ex-showroom Delhi.
