Toyota Cars at Auto Expo 2016 – New Toyota Innova India Debut
The all new 2016 Innova was unveiled internationally a few months back and made an appearance at the Auto Expo this year. The latest generation of the popular MPV is bigger and more premium than the current model and will come with a significant bump in prices when it is finally launched in India. A completely new set of engines power the new Innova when it is launched in the first half of later this year.

Toyota Cars at Auto Expo 2016 – New Toyota Prius India Debut
Toyota India unveiled the 2016 MY Prius, which will soon replace the current car in India this year. The Prius is easily one of the most popular hybrid vehicles globally and a very important product keeping the future in mind. In India, the Prius will be imported via the CB route and will be priced upwards of INR 40 lacs.

Toyota Cars at Auto Expo 2016 – New Toyota Mirai India Debut
The Mirai is a futuristic concept that might never become a production reality, but is sure to pave way for future cars from the Japanese auto giant. This car features Toyota’s Fuel Cell System, which in turn, comprises of both fuel cell technology and a hybrid system. It also comprises of proprietary Toyota-developed components such as fuel cell (FC) stack, FC boost converter, and high-pressure hydrogen tanks. This system has zero CO2 emissions, and yet, the Mirai can accelerate from zero to 97 km/h in a brisk 9.0 seconds
Apart from the models mentioned above, Toyota also showcased its existing line-up including the Etios twins, Corolla Altis and the Camry Hybrid. Highlighting Toyota’s commitment towards sustainable Hybrid tech was the TS040 Hybrid racer. Missing from the Auto Expo were models like the 2016 Fortuner and the Vios, which are expected to be launched in India by 2017.
