Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese auto giant, has showcased one of its popular MPVs in India, The Toyota Alphard India debut has taken place at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018 and the new MPV has been put on a display to gauge the interest of show-goers. That said, the Alphard could be still some time away from its market launch.

The Alphard can serve as a luxurious, and, of course, costlier, an alternative to the Innova Crysta. This premium MPV, on its India launch, will come through the CKD route. Expect the Toyota Alphard to cost roughly Rs 40 lakh when it goes on sale here. This premium MPV offers as many as 8 seats and is powered by a petrol hybrid powerplant that is shared with the Camry Hybrid. Hence, you get the same 2.5-litre petrol mated to an electric motor.
