Mahindra Bolero Camper Restored
This post comes from Nitesh Motor Body on YouTube. The YouTuber showcases a completely totalled Bolero Camper. As per the details in the video, the pickup truck met with a horrific accident. That is when the owner brought it to the car shop. Firstly, the entire pickup truck has been disassembled. This is necessary to build everything from scratch. The entire left side is being rebuilt. In fact, the car modifier is using the same parts and repairing them as much as possible. He stresses on the importance of using the original components instead of replacing them with aftermarket parts.

Finally, the new paint job and interior modifications ensure that the old Bolero replicates the new-age Bolero Camper. The bodywork is so intricate and great that one can’t tell the difference between this accidental car and a new one. On the inside, there is a generous use of leather materials on the dashboard, centre console, door panels and roof. All in all, the car modification house has been able to thoroughly repair and restore a car which was in a dilapidated condition. This is a testament to the professionalism of the design house. What is even more impressive is the fact that they have not gone overboard with this and have only used genuine Mahindra spare parts.

What We Think
We are genuinely impressed by the way the YouTuber has re-created this Bolero Camper. While most car modifications are illegal in India, we understand the need for these customizations after a terrible crash. In such cases, a proper rework is necessary to make the vehicle operational again. That is where such car shops come into the picture. Still, we would like to caution our readers against going for hardcore modifications just for your passion and fun. If the traffic Police catch you, you are bound to get challaned. Hence, stay away from aftermarket modifications if you are planning to use the vehicle frequently.
