Tork T6X electric motorcycle has been teased for the first time. There are chances it could be the very first one in India since it is launching this year.
Tork Motors had unveiled its electric motorcycle concept back in Auto Expo 2016. Three years down the line, the bike is in its final stages of development and is scheduled to launch this year.
The pre-bookings for Tork T6X have commenced for some time now. The launch and deliveries are scheduled to hapen this year itself. As of now, there is no electric bike offered in India.
The teaser shows the electric bike traversing through a tunnel. What we got to know through the clip is the sound of the bike. It seems to deliver an unusual exhaust note.

A couple of months back, T6X was spotted testing on the roads of Pune. Going as per the spy shots, Tork T6X looks like a naked street bike, and will be tuned for performance riding.
The bike will use a 6kW electric motor, that is capable of producing 8 BHP and 27 Nm of peak torque. The bike can easily cross triple digit speeds, as per the company claims.
The riding range offered on T6X will be around 100 kms. Interestingly, it is expected to meet all the requirements for the FAME-II scheme. Most of the criterion is met, while there is nothing known about its localization per cent.
