Tork T6X electric bike has been spotted testing yet again, revealing some new details. It is expected to launch in India by the end of this year.
Pune-based Electric two-wheeler startup has begun the testing of its electric bike. The Tork T6X was shown as a concept in the 2016 Auto Expo, which will finally launch in India this year, after 3 years.
Based on the clear spy shots, we can confirm that it has developed an in-house Steel trellis frame, similar to the one found of KTM bikes. The Tork E-bike is a naked street fighter.
The electric motor is placed below the sub-frame for better mass-centralization. Tork T6X E-bike also uses a shorter frame which allows the swingarm to cover the electric motor.

At the back, a large sprocket can be seen. The chain-drive with the sprocket will help the motor to provide power to the rear wheel.
Other spotted features include halogen headlights with LED turn lights, raised handlebar, big fuel tank, multi-spoke alloy wheels, split grab rails, split seats and rear set foot pegs.
Technology onboard will include a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth integration, Rider information, Bike information including battery status, previous trip details, remaining same, etc. and different types of riding modes.

Tork T6X gets a 6kW electric motor that is capable of producing 8 BHP and 27 Nm of peak torque. The company claims that the bike is capable of cruising at triple digit speeds.
The bike will offer a riding range of 100 kilometers too. The charging specifications are unknown, but as per the company claims, it can be charged from 0-80% in just One hour.
For suspension purposes, it gets conventional telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the back. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the ends paired with CBS. Electric two-wheelers with power above 15 BHP have to be equipped with ABS.

The expected launch date for the bike is by the end of 2019. Our price estimation for the Tork T6X is around Rs 1.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
