Check Wiper Blades
The first tip is to check the health of the wiper blades. It might be a minor issue but it has the potential to cause a lot of trouble if the wipers are not in a healthy condition. Mostly, there will be rain, ice or snow during the winter seasons. If the wiper blades are even slightly worn out, they will affect the visibility severely. That could lead to undesirable consequences. You must make sure to replace the wiper blades if they are not in the best shape to ensure that road safety is not compromised.

Use Glycerine for ORVMs and Windshield
During the winter season, it is common for the ORVMs and the front and rear windshields to fog up. When more than a couple of people sit inside the car with the windows closed, the glass areas often fog up. That reduces the visibility. To avoid that, there are many ways. Applying a coating of glycerine or cleaning the glass with toothpaste thoroughly ensures that the layer of material is there on the glass. Now, the fog doesn’t set on the glass.

Using Defogger
Another prominent method to get rid of the fog on the glass areas inside the cars is the use of front and rear defoggers. Otherwise, you can go for the proper defogger. Note that you must ensure that an almost similar temperature is maintained outside and inside the cabin. That will prevent the fog from accumulating on the windshield.

Hence, you could stop using Nitrogen in tyres during the winter season as there is no almost no advantage.

Headlights
Finally, this tip is valid for all those who have the aftermarket LED headlamps. It is a common trend these days that car owners visit aftermarket car shops to get new LED headlamps. Now the issue with budget lights is that the visibility they offer could be lower than stock LED lights or the high-end expensive ones. That could create issues during low-visibility driving conditions. Therefore, you should either not get the cheap aftermarket LED lights or get the high-end ones. These are the top 5 tips for the winter car care.
