The new generation 2020 Hyundai i20 is all set to be unveiled tomorrow, i.e, 5th November and launched as well. No details about it have been revealed yet, but spy shots have already indicated a couple of highlights. So, here are the top 5 things that you can expect to come with the new generation hatchback.

1. New Engines
The 2020 Hyundai i20 will get two new engines and the same 1.2 Litre four-cylinder petrol motor. The new engines will include a 1.5 Litre turbo-diesel engine that is expected to produce around 100 PS. It will also get a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol motor that will produce 120 PS and 175 Nm of peak torque, making it the most powerful hatch in the segment.
2. New Gearbox Options
The petrol engine will come paired with a 5-speed MT and a CVT gearbox. The diesel engine will most likely come with a 6-speed manual gearbox only. The main attraction will be the 1.0 Litre turbo motor paired with a 7-speed DCT and reportedly, a 6-speed iMT as well.

3. Tons of feature upgrades
Based on the spy shots and media reports, the new i20 will get feature upgrades like new touchscreen infotainment system, electric sunroof, full LED lighting, cruise control, digital instrument cluster, air purifier, automatic AC, rear AC vents and Blue Link internet car technology.
4. Bigger In Size
The new i20 is supposed to be a bit bigger than its predecessor, in terms of width, length as well as height. The outgoing version remains a bit smaller than its rivals in terms of length and cabin space, but the new i20 will improve in that area.
5. Sportier Looking Design
The overall shape of the new i20 will remain the same, however, with huge cosmetic upgrades. The bumpers will be made compliant to the pedestrian safety norms. The boot will get some revamping done for an overall sportier look. Further, it will get also get new alloy wheels, sharper creases and completely new and sportier set of bumpers.
