Kia recently upgraded the Seltos with a couple of features for different variants. Here is the entire list of the upgrades.
Currently, Kia Seltos is one of the most popular SUVs in India battling out in the top 5 selling SUVs. It was introduced last year as Kia’s first car for the Indian market and became an instant hit. Seltos offers many premium and segment-first features that are not even seen on cars that are 30 Lakhs above.
Recently, as a part of the 2020 upgrade, Kia Seltos got some changes. These were limited to addition of new features and minor styling tweaks. Main changes have come on the base and mid-spec trims which have gained some but very important bits. Here are the 5 features that are seen on the 2020 Seltos.
Top 5 New Features Of 2020 Kia Seltos
1. Rear USB Charging Port For All Variants
All the variants, including the base and mid-spec trims will now come with a rear USB charging port. The port will be installed behind the gearbox, on the AC vent space. There will be a single USB charging port on the front as well.
2. UVO Connect Smartwatch Application
Now, the UVO connect Smartwatch application will work with all smartwatches that come with Android, iOS and Tizen operating systems. With the smartwatch, you can check a lot of information related to your Seltos. Not just that, but with the smartwatch, you can also switch on the engine of your SUV.
3. Hello Kia Voice Assist
By just saying Hello Kia, you can now do a lot of voice-assisted work. This new feature includes calling, telling about today’s weather, time and date, cricket score, media control, navigation and even climate control. It’s just like Hey Siri, the voice assist will automatically come to life if you say Hello Kia.
4. Smart-Key Remote Engine Start
Now, all the automatic variants of Kia Seltos will come with Smart-Key remote engine start. This includes the petrol-IVT, Diesel-AT and Turbo-Petrol DCT variants. By pressing a button on your smart key, you can start your car.
5. New Colour Options
Lastly, the upgraded Seltos will now come with all-black interiors on the GTX and GTX+ trims. These both are the top-spec trims and will now come with the sporty cabin. Kia has also added a new orange and white dual-tone colour options for different variants.
