MARUTI SUZUKI WAGON R CNG– 34.05 KM/KG
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is one of the best selling and most affordable cars in India. It also tops our list of best mileage CNG cars under 10 lakh. it boasts a smart design and a refined powertrain that helps it dominate the rivals. The hatchback is currently offered with 2 engine options 1.0L and 1.2L – offering 7bhp and 90bhp power respectively. There is also a 1.0-litre gasoline motor available with the CNG kit, which produces 57bhp of peak power. However, a factory-fitted CNG option could be had only with the entry-level LXi and mid-spec VXi trims. Maruti Suzuki claims that the WagonR 1.0L petrol returns a mileage of 24.35kmpl (manual)/ 25.19kmpl (automatic). Its 1.2L petrol variant returns a mileage of 23.56km/l (manual)/ 24.43km/l (automatic). The WagonR CNG LXi and VXi variants offer a claimed mileage of 34.05km/kg. Its price is Rs 6.43 lakh and Rs 6.88 lakh.
MARUTI SUZUKI BALENO CNG – 30.61 KM/KG
Maruti Suzuki Baleno was introduced in a facelifted version with CNG in the Indian car market last year. Equipped with a 1.2L, 4-cylinder K12N Dualjet petrol engine and factory-fitted CNG kit, it is capable of generating 77.5bhp of power and 98.5Nm of peak torque. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 30.61km/kg for the Baleno CNG. A 55 litre CNG tank has been fitted in its boot space. It is available in 2 CNG variants – Delta and Zeta, priced at Rs 8.30 lakh and Rs 9.23 lakh.

MARUTI SUZUKI CELERIO – 35.6 KM/KG
The Celerio is the third Maruti Suzuki model in our list of best mileage CNG cars under 10 lakh rupees. It is sold in four variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. To which a new 1.0L, 3-cylinder K10C Dualjet petrol engine has been added. It produces 67bhp of max power and 89Nm of torque. It returns a mileage of 26.68kmpl mated to 5-speed manual gearbox and 5-speed AMT. Meanwhile, its CNG version offers stellar 35.6 KM/KG. The price of which goes from Rs 5.35 lakh to Rs 7.13 lakh.
TATA TIAGO CNG – 26.49 KM/KG
Tata Tiago is offered in 6 variants – XE, XT, XZ, XZA, XZ+ and XZA+. Those are equipped with a 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that can churn out 86bhp power and 113Nm of peak torque. The engine is offered with both manual and automatic gearbox options. The petrol motor produces 73bhp and 95Nm of torque with the CNG kit. Its fuel efficiency in CNG is 26.49 km/kg. Its price has been fixed between Rs 6.44 lakh to Rs 8.05 lakh.

HYUNDAI AURA CNG – 28 KM/KG
The last car in our list of best mileage CNG cars under 10 lakh is the Hyundai Aura. Recently, it was re-launched with some new cosmetic changes. It comes with five petrol and two CNG variants, which are kept with the regular 1.2L petrol engine producing 83bhp power and 114Nm of peak torque. Its CNG fitted engine claims to produce 69bhp power and 95Nm torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Aura CNG claims a mileage of 25 km/kg. The S and SX CNG variants are priced from Rs 8.10 lakh to Rs 8.87 lakh respectively.
