This Yamaha FZ S V2 has been modified into a lookalike of Ducati Monster 797 copying the same livery and fuel tank styling.
Ever fancied owning a Ducati Streetfighter but it is simply out your budget? If you have a Yamaha FZ S you can get this done for just Rs 10,000. Here is a perfectly modified version of the FZ S V2 which is a closely looking Ducati Monster 797. Check out the detailing and you can actually see the similarities.
Only mod jobs done here is the livery, identical Ducati style engine guard and a bash plate. That’s it. All this took four days and Rs 10,000. Since both FZ and Monster are naked streetbikes, they look very similar. Probably if you squint, you might get confused for the fancy motorcycle.

Additionally, this Monster 797 comes with the same red colour that comes on Yamaha FZ S V2. The current one comes with decals and dual-tone options while the earlier one came without any decal and in a single-tone option. Lastly, do not miss out on the handlebar end style rearview mirrors which looks like a sporty element.
Yamaha FZ S is now in V3 state which sigificant cosmetic upgrades over the body. It is also BS6 compliant now with Fuel Injection system as standard fitment. The 149cc air-cooled FI engine produces 13 PS at 8000 RPM and 12.8 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
For suspension, it uses telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. For braking purposes, FZ uses disc brakes at both the ends but a single-channel ABS as standard. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 12 Litres and with an expected mileage of 45 kmpl, it can deliver a riding range of nearly 500 kilometres.

The prices of Yamaha FZ S V3 start off at Rs 1.01 Lakhs up to Rs 1.03 Lakhs and comes in two variants. It goes against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Honda X-Blade, Suzuki Gixxer and Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
