Now that we have been stuck at our home for the past 1 and a half month, we all are itching to go out. However, going out gives a chance of us catching the virus which puts our friends and family in danger. It is advisable for every citizen of India to stay safe at home and go out for essential services only. Not like this guy, who wanted to roam around the city.
A 20-year old guy from Andheri, Mumbai put up a fake MLA sticker on his Honda Civic so that he could go around the city. Using an MLA sticker, he got through many checkpoints smoothly. The police did not ask him any questions and that’s what the guy wanted. However, at one checkpost, the cops got suspicious and they decided to question him.

The guy was stopped at a checkpoint near Azad Nagar, right on the Western Express Highway. Initial questioning lead to police getting their suspicions even higher. The guy tried to make excuses on why he was outside once his game was busted. We are not sure if he managed to roam around the city or was caught on the way.
The guy first told that he pasted it by mistake and then could not find any professional help to get it removed. Finally, the guy confessed that he put up the fake MLA sticker on his Honda Civic so that he could evade the check posts. By doing this, he was charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Police has released the teen on bail but have impounded his car. His parents were informed immediately as the family stayed nearby in MIDC, Andheri. The biggest crime the teen did was to impersonate a public servant for his personal enjoyment. State police teams are keeping a close eye on such offenders.
