Other than achieving a new export record, Nissan Magnite’s BR10 engine is now E20 compliant, joining the HR10 turbo variant that became E20-ready in August 2024
Nissan Magnite has reached 50,000 units in export sales since its launch. The model has contributed to increased wholesale volumes in both domestic and international markets, in line with Nissanโs India strategy to enhance local and export sales while positioning India as a key global export hub. The introduction of the Left-Hand Drive (LHD) version has further accelerated growth, with the first dispatch occurring in January 2025.
Nissan Magnite Exports Surpass Domestic Sales
Nissan recorded consolidated wholesale dispatches of 8,567 units in February 2025, driven primarily by a surge in exports. Domestic sales stood at 2,328 units, while exports reached 6,239 unitsโreflecting a 97% year-on-year growth compared to 3,163 units in February 2024. This surge highlights the growing global demand for the Nissan Magnite. The export of the LHD Nissan Magnite commenced in January 2025, with nearly 2,900 units shipped from Chennaiโs Kamarajar Port to Latin American markets. In February 2025, Nissan exported over 2,000 units to the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions, along with more than 5,100 units to select Latin American markets. By the end of February, total LHD Magnite shipments exceeded 10,000 units.
Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, commented: โThe New Nissan Magnite continues to make its mark not only in India but also in global markets, having crossed the significant milestone of 50,000 export sales.
