There are a lot of copied cars that are doing big in the Chinese market and the latest victim of it seems like the Tata Nexon.
We have many cases of copied cars, all mainly coming from China. In the country, there are local copies of Bentley, Rolls Royce and Land Rover cars. Many mainstream budget cars have also been copied and are now selling at large in the Chinese market.
Here’s the Maple 30X which is a low-priced electric SUV. It gets a 70kW electric motor with a driving range of 306 kms. Priced at Rs 7.5 Lakhs in China, it will soon go on sale. All things aside, can you see its similarities to the Tata Nexon.
From the front side, except its grille, rest of the part looks identical to the Nexon. Both get a single closure for the headlamp and grille along with a slightly raised bonnet. From the side, the Maple 30X looks more like the Nexon EV with similar body lines.
