Volkswagen has launched the new-gen Tiguan R-Line in India. The SUV is offered in a single, top-spec variant.
It is priced at ₹48.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are now open, both online and at dealerships. Buyers can reserve the SUV with a ₹25,000 deposit. Deliveries are expected to begin soon.
VW Tiguan R-Line Design and Styling
The third-gen Tiguan adopts VW’s updated global design language. It now sports smoother curves instead of the older boxy profile. The R-Line trim adds aggressive styling elements and premium finishes. Highlights include a wider grille, sporty bumpers, and twin exhaust tips. LED headlamps and tail lamps with dynamic light signatures enhance the look. The SUV rides on stylish dual-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, the Tiguan features a revamped dashboard and a floating touchscreen. It gets a large 15.1-inch infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital cluster. There’s also a head-up display and a rotary controller with a built-in screen. Luxury touches include massaging and ventilated front seats. A panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, and ambient lighting add comfort. It also offers 21 ADAS features including remote park assist.

Specs and Warranty
Power comes from a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine. It delivers 190 PS and 320 Nm of torque. A 7-speed DSG gearbox sends power to all four wheels.
