It certainly looks like Tesla has been working hard to ensure that the electric truck possesses those capabilities to compete in the segment.

Expected Specs
Tesla is notorious for not revealing the details of the specifications of its EVs. Still, there are enough reports floating online giving us an idea of what to expect in terms of its capabilities. Firstly, there will be a single, dual or quad-motor configuration. These represent the number of motors that would power the electric truck. The power figures could range from 470 hp to 700 hp. Moreover, the towing capacity could range from 3,400 kg to 5,000 kg. That is quite impressive. Finally, one could expect a range between 480 km to 725 km, depending on the variant. Some reports even suggest a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of around 3 secs in the sportiest configuration.

Tesla has attracted a lot of flak for delaying the launch of the Cybertruck multiple times now. In fact, it is already more than 4 years since the futuristic electric truck was first showcased to the masses. But in the last few months, we have been witnessing the test mules in real-world conditions quite a lot. This could be a definitive sign that the launch might just be around the corner. With this latest video, it looks like the Cybertruck would be capable even in terms of the practical aspects like the towing capacity and will not just be a flashy and flamboyant EV.
