Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian R1T Spotted
This post comes from The Kilowatts on Twitter. The Cybertruck is wearing a thick camouflage since it is yet to launch. The R1T, on the contrary, is in its full glory. Both electric trucks are waiting at a traffic signal. The distinction between the design of the two EVs is very apparent. In fact, the sharp styling of the Cybertruck is visible. The rear section is quite angular while the futuristic design language comes through. The Rivian R1T bears a more traditional appearance with a regular silhouette.

Some users online commented, “It looks like the R1T rides higher from the ground & is taller overall. I’m not sure about the width; it seems like the CT might be a little wider. It will be interesting to finally have them both on the market.” Another user commented, “The R1T does look sharp, but these other guys just can’t seem to ramp up production the same way Tesla can… Competition is a good thing.” Going forward, it would be great to witness this rivalry after the launch of the Cybertruck.

What We Think
Everyone has been waiting for the Tesla Cybertruck to arrive for years now. Having been unveiled back in 2019, Tesla fans have been eagerly waiting for the official launch. However, the production just kept getting delayed. We are in 2023 and there are still no concrete signs of the EV. In all honesty, we don’t see it happening this year either. Therefore, other electric carmakers are trying to grab a large chunk of the market till the Cybertruck arrives. Let us keep an eye out for the details of the Cybertruck in times to come.
