Tata launches Zest Anniversary Special Edition
Commemorating the completion of an exciting and successful year for the Zest compact sedan, Tata has launched a special anniversary edition of the car. The Zest kicked off the transformation of the Company’s product, sales and service experience and has been the driving force behind Tata’s passenger car sales. The Tata Zest Anniversary Edition boasts of 10 new features and a new paint shade among other additions. This special edition comes just in time during the advent of the highly lucrative festive season. Price
This special anniversary edition of the Tata Zest is available in the XMS trim in both petrol and diesel guises at a premium of INR 15,000 over the standard car.
- Tata Zest Anniversary Edition XMS (Petrol) – INR 5.89 lacs
- Tata Zest Anniversary Edition XMS (Diesel) – INR 6.94 lacs
Launch
The Tata Zest Anniversary Special Edition will go on sale by the end of September 2015. This will coincide with the beginning of the festive season which usually witnesses a spike in tow and four wheeler sales.

Features
The anniversary edition Zest is equipped with 10 new features which, according to Tata, are worth INR 31,000, but are being made available to the customer for half the price at a premium of just INR 15,000:
- New exterior colour
- New wheel covers
- Piano Black outside rear view mirrors
- ‘Anniversary’ embroidery on front seats
- Anniversary theme body graphics
- Anniversary edition badge on the C-pillar
- Rear windshield power curtain with remote
- Bottle holder on floor console
- Scuff plates with illumination for the front
No mechanical changes have been carried out and the Zest continues to be powered by a 89 bhp, 12. litre petrol and a 89 bhp, 1.3 litre diesel mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The latter also comes with a 5-speed AMT.
