The Tata Tiago XT variant sits between the XM and XZ variants. The Tiago is mostly popular with its higher spec variants which is why the Tata Tiago XT variant got discontinued.
The Tata Tiago XT variant, which is a mid-variant for the Tata Tiago, has been discontinued from the Tiago line-up. The XT trim sat in between the XM and XZ trims. Now, with the exclusion of the XT variant, the Tata Tiago is available in five variants, namely XE, XM, XZ, XZO and XZ+.
With regard to the features, the XT trim offered power adjusting wing mirrors, steel wheels with full wheel caps, bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation, keyless entry, infotainment system sourced from Harman and four speakers over the varaints below it. The Tiago is mostly popular with its higher spec variants which is why the Tata Tiago XT variant got discontinued. As for the base XE variant, it gets internally adjustable outside rear view mirrors, 13-inch wheels with hub caps, dual-tone interiors, 2.5-inch MID and an air-conditioner.
Next in the line comes the XM trim and it comes with 13-inch wheels with half wheel caps, speed depending auto door lock, power windows and manual central locking. Going further ahead, there’s the XZ trim which originally sat above the XT trim. The XZ comes equipped with 13-inch wheels with half wheel caps, speed depending auto door lock, power windows and manual central locking.

Higher up, there’s the ZXO trim which comes with 14-inch steel rims with dual-tone caps, LED turn signals on the side mirrors, day/night inside rear view mirror, defogger, cooled glove box and a touchscreen infotainment system. The top-spec ZX+ variant comes fully loaded with things like a dual-tone roof, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supported by Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, height adjusting driver’s seat, automatic climate control, power adjusting ORVMs and projector headlamps.

As for the engines under the hood, the Tata Tiago gets two engine options. It has a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which churns out 84 bhp of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. There’s another 1.05-litre diesel engine that produces 69 bhp and 140 Nm torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT which is offered with XZA and XZA+ variants. On the safety front, the Tata Tiago copmes equipped with ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, corner stability control, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system and passenger seat belt reminder.
