The Tata Tiago has been a pretty huge success for the popular Indian car manufacturer. The sales success of this small car can be attributed to its modern design, a fairly spacious cabin, a long list of features, high fuel mileage, and attractive pricing. Recently, Tata Motors announced the launch of the new Tata Tiago XT AMT, a budget-end variant of the AMT model. Now, the manufacturer has come up with a new limited edition of the Tiago. Dubbed as the Tata Tiago Wizz limited edition, this new model launches just ahead of this year’s festive season. Prices of the Tiago Wizz start at Rs 4.52 lakh

This new model comes with a black roof, black caps for the Outside Rear View Mirrors, and ‘Wizz’ and ‘Limited Edition’ badges. Other than this, even the interior carries many updates. The cabin comes with a new dual tone black-red upholstery and the dashboard features a new glossy red trim instead of the full glossy black affair on the regular models. Specifications and mileage remain the same as before. The new limited edition seems to be based on the XT trim, which means the car comes loaded with features like a Harman infotainment unit, rear parking sensors and electric adjustment for the ORVMs.

The new Tata Tiago Wizz Limited Edition will be available with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine for the Tiago displaces 1.2-litres and is a three-cylinder unit. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed Manual Transmission and AMT (on XT and XZ trims). It outputs a max. power of 85 PS and a peak torque of 114 Nm. The Diesel engine for this small hatchback displaces 1.05-litres and comes mated to a 5-speed Manual Transmission. There’s no AMT for the Diesel engine yet. This engine outputs a max. power of 70 PS and a peak torque of 140 Nm. The Tiago became the first small car to be designed as per the manufacturer’s Impact design theme.

The Tata Tiago Wizz Limited Edition seems to be based on the XT trim. The petrol model of the new car has an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.52 lakh. The Diesel engine model costs Rs 5.30 lakh. At this price point, the special edition of the Tiago is still cheaper than fully-loaded models of the Grand i10. The Tiago has already seen enough success owing to its competitive price tag. The Wizz limited edition model should be no different in this aspect.

Ther won’t be any change in the specifications of the Wizz. Hence, the special model will get exactly the same engines as the regular variants. The petrol Tiago comes with a 1.2-litre, three-pot Revotron engine that has a maximum power of 85 PS and a peak torque of 114 Nm. This engine has a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.84 KMPL. The Diesel engine, on the other hand, offers as much as 27.28 KMPL. The Diesel engine for the Tiago displaces 1.05-litre and has a three-cylinder format. It outputs a maximum power of 70 PS and a peak torque of 140 Nm. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the petrol engine can be ordered with an AMT on select trims. The Diesel engine is yet to get an AMT option.

The Tiago has been one of the most fuel efficient cars in India. As the Wizz won’t get any mechanical changes, it will have exactly the same mileage. The Tiago petrol offers a peak mileage of 23.84 KMPL while the Diesel has a maximum mileage of 27.28 KMPL.
