The Wizz edition comes with only a 1.2-litre petrol edition and sits at a premium of Rs 10,000 over the regular XZ trim.
Tata Motors has launched the Wizz edition of its popular hatchback, Tiago. The car now comes with new exterior and interiors. It was first launched in 2017 as a limited edition but discontinued soon.
The current Wizz edition of the Tata Tiago comes right before the festive season to encash on some sales. This edition is based on the mid-spec XZ trim but is priced Rs 10,000 more because of the cosmetic upgrades over the standard model.
The changes on the exteriors are limited to black contrast roof, Canyon orange ORVMs and grille inserts. It also comes with hyper style wheels which have the same canyon orange inserts found on the grille and ORVMs. To differentiate from the standard Tiago models this comes with an addition of Wizz badging.

Commenting on the introduction the Tiago WIZZ, Mr Vivek Srivatsa, Head Marketing, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors said, “The Tiago is one of the most popular car in its segment and has been on constant growth since its launch. Tiago with over 2.5 lakh happy customers is well received by customers as a Young, Premium and Fun hatchback. This youthful Limited edition will add to the premium and fun quotient of the brand”.
Now taking you through the interiors on what’s changed then the cabin gets full fabric seats with canyon orange deco stitch. The same colour shade continues with the side and centre air vent ring. The hatchback also sees granite black door handles and titanium grey gear shift and air vent bezel.
The car gets multi-function steering wheel, adjustable wing mirrors, 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, remote central locking and others as convenience features.

Under the hood, the Tiago Wizz edition comes with a sole 1.2-litre petrol engine. This can be found in its standard version too. This engine produces about 84 bhp and 114 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to 5-speed manual gearbox.
In other news, Tata Motors also updated the Tiago and Tigor top trims, XZ+ and XZA+ with the fully digital instrument cluster. And the Tata Nexon EV will be launched in 2020 and will offer a 300 km driving range.
Tata Tiago was launched in April 2016 and has been integral to the Company’s Turnaround strategy. Since its launch, the brand’s success has led to the addition of multiple variants and brand extensions that have been much appreciated by the customers.
