No surprise, then, that, news of the small car keeping all its passengers safe in some gruesome accident hardly surprises us. Still, though, every once in a while, we come across a report that leaves us really pleasantly surprised. The case in the point here is a recent crash that took place in Gujarat. As per the video, the said accident took place in Ahemadabad, Gujarat’s CTM to Vishala road after crossing the Sabarmati river bridge. It’s said that the Tiago was traveling at over 100 km/h at the time of the mishap. As the hatchback was overspeeding, the driver could hardly get any time to react and avoid ramming into the truck. A bystander who reported the accident informs that the truck driver himself called the ambulance. However, the driver was largely unhurt as he saw him talking over the phone and informing a relative that he’s fine. The driver is said to have said that he was fortunate to be traveling in a Tiago. Luckily, there was no one else in the car as things could have been pretty bad had there been a co-driver.

As seen above, the truck has totally destroyed the front LHS of the vehicle up to the B-pillar. Luckily, though, there was no one in the front passenger seat. The bystander also informs that the incident left the truck with a damaged suspension and bumper. While we’re still not sure about the car traveling at over 100 km/h at the time of the incident, it’s clear that the crash took place at a very high speed. Also, we’re mighty pleased to know that the driver is largely well and survived this accident.

That said, we would like to once again reiterate that one should avoid overspeeding at all costs. One must follow the traffic rules while driving. Most importantly, one must always wear a seatbelt and drive within the speed limit. The most undesirable incidents occur on the roads due to overspeeding, and people not wearing seatbelts cause the injury to become worse than it could have been otherwise. Follow traffic rules and make our roads a safer place to drive.
