Tata Tiago and Tigor get the much awaited Apple CarPlay connectivity. Updates are only available for the XZ+ trims.
Tata Tiago and Tigor now get Apple CarPlay connectivity along with the existing Android Auto. This feature will allow iPhone users to connect their smartphone and enjoy a smooth drive without any hindrance.
One can simply visit any service centre from Tata and get the software updated. This update is available for the XZ+ variants only. The new XZ+ variants come with attractive new headlamps and diamond cut alloy wheels.
Tata Harrier recently received this new update. However, the performance cars, Tiago and Tigor JTP, are soon to get the software updates which will allow Apple CarPlay connectivity. Tata also plans to offer a 7″ touchscreen infotainment system on all the variants of both Tiago and Tigor.
Tiago and Tigor share the same engine, a 1.2L petrol motor churning out 85bhp of power and a peak torque of 115Nm and gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol engine also comes with an optional 5-speed AMT.
The diesel engine is powered by 1.05L Revotorq motor which generates a maximum power of 70bhp and 140Nm of torque.

Meanwhile, the testing of Tiago facelift has already commenced. It has been spotted testing many times on the Indian roads. Most likely, the next-gen Tiago will draw some inspiration from upcoming Altroz.
With the new update on the infotainment system, Tiago is at par with its competition which are Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Hyundai Santro and entry-level variants of Hyundai Grand i10. Tata Tigor competes with the likes of Ford Aspire, Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, all of them which have Apple CarPlay.

Tiago prices start at Rs 4.34 lakh for the base variant and go up to Rs 6.62 lakh for the top end variant. On the other hand its sibling, Tigor prices start at Rs Rs 5.55 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 7.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
