The Tata Tiago NRG has been launched in India. The cross-hatchback comes with petrol and diesel variants, which are priced at Rs 5.49 Lakhs and Rs 6.31 Lakhs respectively (ex-showroom Delhi). It gets an increased ground clearance with upgraded exteriors as well as interiors.
So, Tata recently launched the Nexon Kraz Edition, in celebration of 1 year anniversary of the Nexon. As the festive season is nearing, all of the brands are gearing up for either new launches or facelift of special editions of their existing models. Now, the Tata Tiago NRG has been in the news for the last 5-6 days. It has been spied many times and today, it has launched in India. The petrol variant is priced at Rs 5.49 Lakhs and the diesel one goes for Rs 6.31 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

What is Tata Tiago NRG?
NRG is basically a cross version of their popular hatchback, Tiago. Other cross-hatches in the market include Fiat Avventura, Ford Freestyle, and Celerio X. These cars get extra body cladding, roof rails and a tweaked suspension with more ground clearance. The Tata Tiago NRG gets extra black claddings around the bumpers, side skirts and tailgate, new 14-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, revised and bigger wheel arches, an improved tailgate, and a faux skid plate. Also, the ride height is increased by 10 mm at 180 mm.
How do the interiors of Tata Tiago NRG look?
The interiors are similar to Tiago. It gets an all-black color scheme with Canyon orange highlights on the ac vents and gearbox. It comes with the 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6-way adjustable driver seat, cooled glove box, Steering mounted audio and phone controls and ORVMs with LED turn indicators. These features are available in the top-variant XZ trim.

What are the safety features on the Tata Tiago NRG?
The NRG comes with the same safety feature list from the Tiago XZ variant. It comes with ABS with EBD, Driver and Co-Driver airbags, Follow-me-home lamps, rear parking sensors, Day and Night IRVM and rear smart wiper with washer.

What are the engine specifications of the Tiago NRG?
It continues with the same 1.2 Litre Revotron and 1.05 Litre Revotorq diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 85 BHP of power and 114 Nm of torque. The diesel engine produces 70 BHP of power and 140 Nm of torque. The NRG comes with 5-speed manual gearbox.
How much mileage does the Tata Tiago NRG give?
The petrol variant of the cross-hatch gives around 23 kmpl and the diesel variant gives around 27 kmpl.
What are the prices of the Tiago NRG?
The Tata Tiago NRG costs a bit over the standard Tiago. Since, it is based on the top-end trim, the petrol variant is priced at Rs 5.49 Lakhs and the diesel variant retails at Rs 6.31 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi). Both the variants are priced around Rs 30,000 more than the Tiago XZ variant.
