It boasts of a stable structure and strong components used that make its crumple zone tougher than a lot of cars. Here is an accident where Tiago went through a severe head-on collision with an oncoming truck.
The owner was travelling on outer ring road of Chennai at night time when an oncoming truck crashed into him at high speed. The airbags deployed immediately and owner came out without any major injuries. He just got a seatbelt bruise and sprain on both the knees. As you can see the damage to Tiago is quite high.

The front portion has been completely damaged and mostly, the car is beyond repairs. The engine bay has been damaged and even the radiator has come out. The tyres have burst along with chassis completely twisted. Even the doors have crumpled due to the severe impact. Surely, the speed of both vehicles has to be around 50-60 km/hr.
This time, even the cabin seems to have been impacted as the driver seat is also broken. The headrest is missing from the frame and even the co-passenger seat seems slightly out of the bracket.
