Although we have seen spy shots of the Tata Tiago facelift before, here’s a first proper look at a production spec Tiago facelift which comes with a redesigned face.
We already knew that a Tata Tiago facelift is in the works. It has been spied a few times already and while we could make out the changes to the profile and the rear end, we never really got a good glimpse at the face of the Tiago facelift, thanks to the rudimentary elements on the face of the test mule. Now however, a fresh set of images have surfaced the internet which gives you the best look yet at a production spec Tata Tiago facelift that has been spied in Ladakh along with the Altroz.
The Tiago facelift gets a new grille with horizontal slats in replacement of the honeycomb mesh grille that it currently gets. Also, the headlamps merge into the grille, giving the face a much sharper look. Although the spotted test mule came heavily camouflaged, you can still tell the front bumper has been revised with new fog lamp housings. The car remains pretty much similar in profile but at the rear, it gets slight revisions to the tail lamps.
On the inside, the changes are expected to be more subtle. The interiors could get some new color themes and upholstery. Recently, Tata Motors updated the Tiago with a digital speedometer and that is expected to continue in the facelifted model. Other than that, the car will carry over its touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Harman sound system, climate control, steering mounted controls, multi-info display and projector headlamps as well.
