As per a digital render of the Tata Safari, this EV variant looks almost production-ready. Ever since its launch, Safari had managed to captivate the Indian audience with its bold styling and rugged body. The SUV has been doing well on the sales charts. Tata, as a brand is moving towards electrification with gen-2 concept products like the Curvv and gen-3 concept products like Avinya being showcased already. As a digital automobile artist, SRK Designs has managed to carve out a virtual illustration of what an electric version of the Safari could look like.

Digital Render of Tata Safari EV
The main highlight of this digital iteration is the electric blue colour theme which is what the Nexon EV comes with. The designer has installed a closed-off grille at the front with a piano black finish that is flanked by sleek LED DRLs on the bonnet. The main headlamp cluster is positioned on the bumper on either side surrounded by housing that is highlighted in blue. The sturdy nature of the SUV has been retained thanks to the silver skid plate beneath the bumper.

On the sides, the Safari sports its typical tall-boy design with black roof rails and side body skirting which is complementing the blue paint really well. The diamond-cut alloy wheel design is reminiscent of the regular Safari. The door handles are body coloured while the ORVMs are finished in black. A shark fin antenna and a sunroof are visible from the front. The electric charger is seen plugged into the socket where the fuel inlet is located. All in all, the sheer colour theme and a few design elements expose the electric nature of the SUV.

With the IC engine, the Tata Safari comes with the 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine making 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. There is the option of either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. The prices of the Safari range from Rs 15.25 lakh to Rs 23.46 lakh, ex-showroom. The direct rivals include the likes of Mahindra XUV700 and MG Hector Plus.
