In a shocking video, a Tata Punch was involved in a crash at a petrol pump. There were 2 bikes and a Maruti Omni that got engulfed in this weird turn of events. Now, it is a grave issue in our country that people end up getting a driver’s license even though they are not well-versed in traffic rules or driving skills. Tata Punch Crashes at a Petrol Pump
The video has been uploaded by the MediaoneTV Live channel on YouTube. The incident has been reported from Kerala. One can clearly see the specifics of the crash that have been recorded in the CCTV footage. A Maruti Omni was being filled up with petrol and 2 bikers were also waiting in the queue. Suddenly, a speeding Tata Punch comes and hits the Omni and the bikes from behind. The micro-SUV was so uncontrolled that it didn’t stop there but steered away to hit the next fuel pump.

It looks like the driver was not trained and ended up hitting the accelerator instead of the brakes. That can happen with amateur drivers who panic in such situations. Looking at the visuals, one could clearly see that the driver didn’t release the accelerator pedal for quite some time as a result of which the Punch didn’t stop at the first impact.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured in this crash because the speed of the Punch was not too high. However, we must become more serious about our driving tests.
