The detail of features likely to be offered on the Tata Punch has been leaked on a Facebook page. Tata is all set to unveil the micro SUV on October 4, 2021. The reviews and test drives will follow soon after. Punch is the production spec of the HBX that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Catering to the needs of entry-level SUV lovers, the Punch justifies the SUV tag completely. It is a muscular and bold vehicle with an upright stance, tall bonnet and pronounced wheel arches. Borrowing the front fascia from its bigger siblings, Harrier and Nexon means that Punch will look familiar but unique. Now, the detail of the prominent features of Tata Punch has been leaked online. Tata Punch Features Detail
The micro SUV is expected to pack in a ton of features largely due to sharing a ton of interior elements with the Altroz premium hatchback. Therefore, the Punch might feature a 7-inch Digital Infotainment System, a 7-inch TFT Driver’s Instrument Display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth Connectivity, iRA Connected Car Tech from Tata Motors, Automatic Climate Control, Steering Controls, Automatic Headlamps & Wipers, Traction Modes (in AMT variant), 90-degree opening doors, the flat floor at the rear, good quality interiors, high seating positon, Dual Airbags and ABS as standard across all variants and plenty of other safety kits. The SUV will have a high ground clearance of 187 mm which will propel it through most of the rough terrains and speed breakers with ease.

The exteriors of the Punch will feature 16-inch sporty diamond-cut alloy wheels, chunky wheel arches, split-LED headlamp unit with LED DRLs on the bonnet (Harrier-like) and the actual headlights on the bumper below, thick slab of the grille inspired by the Nexon. The bumpers are sporty and the side-profile gives the micro SUV a rugged feel. The rear features the LED taillamps with a tri-arrow design pattern and 366-litres of boot space along with other things.

Specs
The micro SUV will come with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine making 86 hp. There might well be turbo petrol on offer as well. This engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. The prices are expected to be in the vicinity of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh, ex-showroom. It will rival the likes of Maruti Ignis and the upcoming Hyundai Casper in our market.
