Tata Punch EV vs Tata Tiago EV Specs Comparison
Tata Punch EV
The recently introduced Punch EV now operates on a pure EV architecture. Buyers now have the option to select between two battery pack choices – a 25 kWh and a 35 kWh. The smaller battery pack provides a range of 315 km (MIDC), while the larger one offers an extended range of 421 km on a single charge. These batteries incorporate two e-Drive options – a 60 kW (80 hp) PMSM AC with 114 Nm and a 90 kW (120 hp) PMSM AC with 190 Nm of peak power and torque. This translates to a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 9.5 seconds, with a top speed of 140 km/h. Both the battery pack and electric motor boast an IP67 rating, ensuring water and dust resistance. To provide owners with peace of mind, there is an 8-year or 1,60,000 km warranty. In the Long Range (LP) version, there are options for a 3.3 kW and a 7.2 kW AC fast charger, along with a 50 kW DC fast charger. Utilizing the latter, you can charge the EV from 10% to 80% in just 56 minutes.

Tata Tiago EV
The electric variant of the Tiago hatchback is equipped with two battery pack options – a 19.2 kWh LFP and a 24 kWh LFP unit. The former provides an output of 61 hp / 110 Nm, while the latter delivers 75 hp / 114 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. However, the most crucial information for users is the expected range for each of these versions. The smaller battery pack offers an estimated 257 km, while the larger battery provides a range of 315 km. It’s important to note that these figures are ideal, and in real-world conditions, one might achieve a range of approximately 180 km to 250 km, depending on driving habits and temperature conditions. Even it has an 8-year or 1,60,000 km warranty (whichever is earlier). It is based on the same platform which boasts a 4-star NCAP safety rating at the Global NCAP and the battery and electric motor have an IP67 rating for water and dust protection.
