This design concept of the Tata Punch EV makes it look unmistakably, Tata. SRK Designs, an automobile enthusiast designer has brought us yet another cool variant of the Tata Punch. The launch of the Punch is just around the corner. It is a micro-SUV from Tata Motors based on the concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Tata has decided to tap into the potential of the growing SUV trends in the Indian automobile market. With not too many players focused on this segment at the moment, Tata could have the first mover’s advantage. The product looked really stunning at the Auto Expo and people are already drawn towards its appearance. If the pricing and features are aggressive, Tata might just have another winner on its hands. Here are the details of the EV concept of the Tata Punch.

Tata Punch EV Concept
The video takes the viewers through the entire process of editing and designing this concept. The designer has taken even the minor details into consideration. As it is clear from the unveiling of the Punch, it shares the fascia with a combination of Harrier and Nexon. Hence, the designer has brought some Nexon EV elements into this version too. To start with, the Punch wears the Signature Teal Blue paint scheme dedicated to EVs at Tata Motors. The front-end features blue highlights around the LED DRLs on the bonnet, a Tri-Arrow design pattern in blue on the grille below the bumper, EV badging on the front grille, blue surrounds around the fog lamps, Silver finish on the skid plate and side body cladding, blacked out wing mirrors, large wheel arches with blue insert on the alloy wheels. The A, B and C Pillars are finished in black and the fuel lid opens up to the socket for charging.

Tata Punch – Expected Specs
The expected engine options might include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine making 86 hp. There might well be turbo petrol on offer as well. This engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. The expected prices of the Tata HBX are likely to be in the region of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 8 lakh, ex-showroom. It will rival the likes of Maruti Ignis, S-Presso, Renault Kwid and the upcoming Hyundai AX1 once it launches around the festive season.
