Now the Tata Punch can be purchased by Armed Forces personnel through CSD canteens at a base price lower than Tiago
The Tata Punch offers the feel of an SUV in a smaller package. At just 3.8mm, the sub-compact SUV is giving competition to the likes of Mahindra KUV100 NxT, Maruti Ignis, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite. It comes in multiple variants and four trims – four trims: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative. While the base model (Pure) starts at Rs 5.48 Lakh, the top variant (Tata Punch Creative AMT) comes with a price tag of Rs 9.08 Lakh (introductory, ex-showroom Delhi). Now, the Tata Punch CSD prices have also been revealed.

The CSD canteen offers hundreds of products (including) at a discounted price for personnel from Armed Forces. According to a new YouTube video, the Tata Punch will be available for purchase through CSD canteens at a starting price of Rs 4,86,431 (ex-showroom) for the Pure variant. This is, in fact, even lower than the base Tiago that retails at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tata Punch Pure Rhythm is priced at Rs 5,17,655 (ex-showroom). The tax, insurance, etc will add to the ex-showroom price. The Tata Punch Adventure comes with a CSD price tag of Rs 5,66,407 (ex-showroom). Whereas the Tata Punch Adventure AMT will be available in CSD canteens at Rs 6,19,590 (ex-showroom). The Tata Punch Accomplish and Tata Punch Accomplish AMT are priced at Rs 6,46,182 (ex-showroom) and Rs 6,99,366 (ex-showroom).

All the above-mentioned models (Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished) can be purchased by Armed Forces personnel with OR, JCO, and Officer ranks. However, the higher models are only available though CSD to personnel with JCO and Officer ranks. The Tata Punch Creative comes with a CSD price tag of Rs 7,52,550 (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the top variant (Tata Punch Creative AMT) comes with a price tag of Rs 8,05,733 (ex-showroom).

The Tata Punch is powered by the 86hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that offers 86PS and 113Nm of Torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed AMT. The five-seater SUV has a ground clearance of 187mm. For safety, the company has added dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear parking camera. Additional highlights of the new SUV include a 7-inch touchscreen system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, auto AC, and cruise control. It comes in 7 different color options – Atomic Orange, Tropical Mist, Meteor Bronze, Tornado Blue, Calypso Red, Orcus White, and Daytona Grey.
