Tata Punch Collides with Truck
This video comes from Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel features content around road safety and the performances of prominent cars during unfortunate circumstances. On this occasion, a case has emerged from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. As per the information in the video, the driver of the Punch was travelling to Tirumala. He was about to join the main road. However, due to his carelessness, he didn’t pay heed to the oncoming traffic. Since a truck was at a relatively high speed and the Punch suddenly appeared in front of it, there was a huge collision. The micro SUV turned 180 degrees and the truck overturned on the road due to the momentum too.

There were three persons in the Punch including a 7-year-old boy who was in the front passenger seat. Despite such a severe impact, the passenger in the rear seat suffered minor neck injuries, the driver was safe and the boy faced three broken teeth as he was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the truck was also safe. There are evident deformations on the front section of Punch. This includes a damaged bumper, bonnet, windshield, headlight, etc. Still, the side pillars didn’t collapse and were able to cocoon the passengers enough to prevent any serious injury. This is a testament to the build quality of Tata Punch.
